Easy DIY Afterschool Checklist with FREE printable!

Am I the only one who asks their child if the have done A, B and C right before they are about to go to bed? It's a bad habit that I have because I am going through my mental checklist of the 95,000 things that I have to do, remember and buy.

I am not the only one, right??

I made this checklist for my daughter and put it in her room, so that she has a list of things that she knows she is expected to have completed before bed.

It's a fun way to teach responsibility and get into a routine and it takes a few things off your mega to-do list. I am sharing my super easy way I made this, as well as the free printable.
Download your free printable here!

What you will need:
* 1 8x10 picture frame
* A printer
*Dry erase markers

Once you print it out, you will probably have to trim it a little, then just pop it in the frame! You can use any type of dry erase markers and they easily wipe off. You can hang this on the wall near where your child does their homework or in their room. After they complete all of the tasks for that day, they mark out the day of the week, so they know they're on track! Fun, easy, cheap and helps with organization--that is a win, win in the Mom world!

I purchased these 3 pack of dry erase markers that already have tiny erasers on them for Dollar Tree. I got the frame from there too, so that was a whopping $2! When I showed my daughter, she absolutely loved it. Now, she can't wait to show off what she has done and how many check marks she has. I hope you enjoy!!

Fall Bucket List

With fall right around the corner I thought I would make a fall bucket list including all of our most loved things about this time of the year. I like to have little mini traditions that we do each year so the girls have something to look forward to. We always try to go to a fall festival or corn maze. They are usually free or cheap to get in and the girls have a blast. Not to mention, great photo ops! Here is a pic from them from Steed's Dairy in Augusta, GA from last year. They had a ball!

So, whether you already have some fun things you like to do or you want to try out some of mine, I have 2 free printables for your fall bucket list.

Starbucks - Plan with me

*sniff sniff* Do you smell that? It couldn't be....already?
The pumpkin spice lattes are back at Starbucks and if you are like me that means it's Fall, baby! This may be hard to believe - but I don't actually like pumpkin spice lattes or pumpkin spice anything. WAIT, don't go! My love for fall is real, I'm just more of a smores frap kinda girl. Soooo get out your pumpkins, scarves and favorite candles because it's my favorite time of the year. It might still be 90 degrees here in Georgia, but it's fall in my heart ♥

Because of all this fall hype I decided to do a plan with me using the CUTEST and might I add free planner stickers I found on Pinterest for the MAMBI planner.

I downloaded the stickers from Pinterest and then used Avery shipping lables to print them out. I do have a Sillhouette Cameo, but I find it's usually less of a hassle for me to just cut them myself. So get out a good ol' fashioned pair of scissors and make sure there is ink in your printer!

You can download the stickers here

**I do not know the original pinner for this link, or who made these stickers. If you do, please let me know so I can give them a link back and tell them thank you!

Now, onto the planning....

Like I said, I just cut out the stickers with scissors. It doesn't look perfect, but as long as you're ok with it, that's all that matters. I accidentally printed these on the half page sheet of labels, so everything in the middle was cut in half, but I made it work! You can always make it work. Next, I added washi tape on the bottoms and sides. I used the thinner tape for the headers just to cover them. I don't like to cover my dates at the top-some people do, just personal preference. After that I put the larger stickers and to-do boxes on.
I like to have all of my washi tape and pens in one place so I am somewhat organized when I do my spread. I love the zippy pouch you see in the picture because there are 2 zippers, so it holds my pens, highlighters and my washi tape. To purchase your own "On Sundays we plan" pouch, visit my store on Etsy.  I keep a list of anything important I want to put in the planner and then fill in the blanks once I get the stickers where I want them.
This is my finished spread, nothing too crazy. I used the blank tabs to do my work schedule and I used the to do, to clean and to buy boxes for the side bar.

I would love to see what you do with your spread. On Instagram #thatssopresh to show me your Starbucks spread! Happy Fall Y'all :)

Gameday| Buffalo Chicken Dip

It's finally here -GAME DAY! If you're a Southern girl like me, you know the first day of college football is basically a holiday. So, to celebrate I am sharing my super easy - but totally yummy - go to dip for game day!

This recipe is simple and not too expensive, not to mention every time I make it, it doesn't last very long because it is so addictive!! Scroll down to grab this yummy recipe that will be the hit of your football party! Below is the recipe that I use, but basically anything can be changed based your taste preferences, so if you want more cheese add it girl! If you don't like ranch you can use as little as you would like. I have actually made it without ranch before because I didn't have any and I was too lazy to go to the store. Shocker. So this is what I like to make for a party sometimes I do go heavier on the Frank's because I like it spicy :)

You will need:

1 8oz package of cream cheese (room temperature)
2 cans of chicken (drained)
1 1/2 cups of  mixed shredded cheese
1 cup Frank's hot sauce
2/3 cup ranch dressing

1. Preheat oven to 400. Make sure you drain your chicken and have your cream cheese at room temperature so it will be easy to mix.
Throw everything in a bowl. I used the casserole dish I was baking it in.

2. Mix everything together.

3. Put it in the oven for 25min

This is also a great go to, because it is pretty hard to mess up. You just dump the ingredients into a bowl, mix it all together and throw it in the oven for 25min. Easy-peasy! I have also made this in the crockpot. Same thing, you just through it all in on low for a couple of hours. What do you eat with this dip? SO many options, but here are a few of my favorites:
  •  Tortilla scoops
  • Blue corn tortilla chips
  • Celery
  • Ritz crackers
  • Triscuits (plain)
  • Fritos
The possibilities are endless, people! Let me know how this turns out for you & what you like to eat with this tasty dip., pub-2582365856136288, DIRECT, f08c47fec0942fa0
